To train high school and professional students under a model of social responsibility; scientists, humanists and academics; with an informed and global vision of the world, enterprising, ethical and competent in the knowledge society. 

Vision

The University of San Luis Potosí is widely recognized in 2023 as an institution of the highest quality, socially responsible, open, inclusive, integrated and solidly linked with its environment. It promotes free discussion of ideas, without relations of ideological dependency or politics; with a high degree of governability; seen as a pole of local, regional, national and international reference; for the solid training of high school graduates, professionals and citizens aware of their social responsibility. Its contributions promote the development of knowledge, the humanities, culture, technology and innovation; as well as for their timely contributions and with the highest quality standards to improve the human development of the local society and the country.

benefit of society.
